In 2007, when I signed on to become an Auxiliary Volunteer with Monongahela Valley Hospital, I never imagined where my journey would take me or, how I might touch peoples’ lives.
From sharing the grief and pain of a mother who had lost her son, to having a Grandmother, who is raising her grandchildren, cry and hug me after comforting her, my volunteer work is more rewarding than words can describe.
